The Short VersionMilton Bird Boarding is a small, home-based bird boarding and sitting service in Milton, Ontario. The only information we ask for is what you choose to type into our contact form when you reach out about caring for your bird. We use that information to reply to you and to arrange a stay — nothing more. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it off to advertisers, and we keep only what we need for as long as we need it.
What We CollectWhen you fill out the contact form on this site, you may give us your name, email address, the type of bird you keep, the service you are interested in, and whatever details you include in your message about dates and your bird's needs. We only receive this if you choose to send it. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for payment details or sensitive personal information through the website.
Like most websites, this site uses basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are popular. This helps us improve the site. It does not identify you personally, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Why We Use ItWe use the details from your inquiry for one purpose: to answer your questions and help arrange bird care. That can include replying to your message by email, confirming dates and availability, and asking any follow-up questions needed to look after your bird properly during a stay. We do not use your information for marketing campaigns, and we will not add you to any mailing list without you asking us to.
SharingYour information stays with Milton Bird Boarding. We do not sell, rent, or trade it to anyone. The only behind-the-scenes help we rely on is trusted service providers that make the website and email work — for example, the hosting and form-delivery services that pass your message along to our inbox. They only handle your information to provide that service to us. The one exception is if we are ever legally required to share information by a valid request from a Canadian authority.
Keeping ItWe keep inquiry messages only as long as we reasonably need them — to answer you, to arrange and complete a stay, and to keep a short record in case you reach out again about your bird. When your information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it. If you would like us to remove your details sooner, just ask and we will take care of it.
Your ChoicesYou are always in control of the information you have shared with us. You can ask us what we hold, correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete it entirely. To make any of these requests, email us at info@miltonbirdboarding.ca and we will respond promptly. Because we collect so little to begin with, these requests are usually quick to handle.
Keeping It SafeWe take reasonable, common-sense steps to protect the information you send us and to limit who can see it. No method of sending information over the internet is ever completely secure, but we treat your details with care and keep access to them limited to running Milton Bird Boarding.
ChildrenThis website and our services are intended for adults arranging care for their birds. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
UpdatesIf we ever change how we handle your information, we will update this page and adjust the date at the top. We encourage you to glance over it whenever you reach out to us.
