We have a range of clean, spacious enclosures available, but you are welcome to bring your bird's own cage if that helps them feel more at home. Familiar surroundings can reduce stress, so we always encourage it when practical.
We recommend bringing your bird's regular food, any medications, a favourite toy or two, and a written note about their daily routine including sleep schedule, dietary preferences, and any behavioural quirks. The more we know, the better we can care for your bird.
We are experienced with birds of all temperaments. For nervous birds, we allow extra settling-in time, keep their environment calm and quiet, and gradually introduce interaction at the bird's own pace. We never force handling and always prioritize your bird's comfort.
Absolutely. We send daily photo and text updates so you can see how your bird is doing. For extended stays, we also provide detailed notes on behaviour, appetite, and activity levels. You are welcome to request extra updates anytime.
We recommend booking at least one week in advance, especially during the summer and holiday seasons when demand is highest. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when space is available, so do not hesitate to reach out.
We operate from a dedicated, bird-safe space right here in Milton. Our environment is climate-controlled, free from household hazards like non-stick cookware fumes, and designed specifically for the safety and comfort of companion birds.
Your bird's health is our top priority. We monitor every guest closely for signs of illness. If we notice anything concerning, we contact you immediately and can arrange a visit to a local avian veterinarian with your approval. We ask that all birds appear healthy at drop-off to protect every guest.
We currently ask that owners bring their birds to our location for drop-off and pick-up. This gives us a chance to meet you, go over your bird's care plan in person, and ensure a smooth handoff. We are centrally located in Milton so most neighbourhoods are a short drive away.
